Oh, The fun I had being the Pryors Hayes Wedding Photographer for Olivia and Adam! Their beautiful wedding took place in the middle of summer and we had a wonderful, emotional day. The bride looked beautiful, the groom looked OK too (Just kidding, Adam… You looked beautiful too!) but I will let the photos do the talking!

I really enjoyed photography at Pryors Hayes in Chester
After arriving at Adam and Olivias house and meeting the CUTEST DOG IN THE WORLD (yeah, I’m a dog-lover! we know this) we had a chilled morning before heading over to the beautiful Pryors Hayes Golf Club. The sun was shining through the lovely outdoor ceremony and although we got a teeny tiny bit of rain, the sun was soon shining bright again, meaning we could enjoy our outdoor drinks reception.
We even got to go for a drive on the golf carts! I was a passenger and was hanging off the back for a very bumpy ride across the course… Quite a sight, I imagine.
Craig, the videographer, was able to ride inside the cart… MUCH safer option! The things we do for photography, eh?
Pryors Hayes is a lovely Golf Course just outside of Chester. Its got loads of grounds, as would be expected, but also a fantastic outdoor ceremony space which doubles as a place to have a drink reception. Inside is just as stunning, with a mix of bare, rustic brick and modern touches, the light is wonderful.
The party was provided by the DJ, who did a great job of getting everyone on the dance floor so that we could party the night away.
Locations for portrait photography at Pryors Hayes
When we are given such wonderful grounds, along with fantastic weather and a great-looking couple, my job is as simple as taking them on a nice walk and letting them be themselves.
We went for a drive to a quiet section of the golf course too, and shot some wonderful photos.
The Bride and Groom managed to spend as much time as they wanted to with their guests, as we shot our photos in short sessions. This keeps the light fresh, the couple don’t get bored, and the guests get so see more of them!
Natural and Relaxed photos at Pryors Hayes
One of my favourite moments from the wedding day was when Olivia, the Bride, Walked into the outdoor ceremony space with her Dad. Adam, The groom, looked absolutely gobsmacked! I don’t think he wanted to cry… but there was definitely a tear! I’ve got the wedding photos to prove it.
I’m also going to take a moment to thank the other staff and suppliers I worked with on the day. The guys at Pryors Hayes Wedding Venue are fantastic and made sure the day ran smoothly. The food was lovely, too… We know how much I love that part of the day.
All in all, It was a good day to be a wedding photographer at Pryors Hayes!
