Cheshire Wedding Photographer
Nice to meet you, I'm Paul
I believe that the best wedding photography is natural, fun and candid. I'm based in Cheshire and cover weddings all over the UK.

My Most Important Goal:
to make your wedding, you and your family look amazing, in the most natural way that I can
I’m always drawn to the little details that tell the bigger story. On the day, I keep things relaxed and blend in, so I can catch those real, in-between moments — the hand-squeezes during vows, the laughter over getting-ready drinks, and Uncle Bob tearing up the dance floor like only he can.

"Known for his natural approach, Paul captures luxury countryside weddings—preserving real moments, genuine emotions, and the unique atmosphere of the day"
// Rock My Wedding

"I'm not exaggerating, choosing Paul as our wedding photographer was the best decision we made. So relaxed and personable, but organised and professional. We just felt immediately at ease"

A bit about me
Wedding photographer in Cheshire & the uk.
countryside wanderer, grandma's new best friend, husband, cat-dad, human-dad.
espresso connoisseur, pinot noir devotee.

I’ve been told I’m so laid-back I’m practically horizontal. A relaxed, easygoing presence.
I swapped London’s hustle for Cheshire's country lanes, muddy wellies, and loads of coffee.
I know how much thought you’ve poured into your wedding day, and I care about capturing it as if it were my own.
Oh, I'm already sorry about my dance-floor dad-bopping!
Let's see some photos...
My work is mostly candid, I step in from time to time to give a small amount of casual direction. From lavish country house weddings to garden setups, each day gets the same love and attention.

What areas do you cover as a Cheshire wedding photographer?
I primarily work throughout Cheshire, capturing weddings at beautiful venues like Colshaw Hall, Thornton Manor, and Peckforton Castle.
However, I’m also happy to travel across the UK for couples planning their special day.
What is your approach to wedding photography in Cheshire?
My style is relaxed and documentary, focusing on candid, joyous moments that truly reflect your wedding day. This is mixed with some editorial flair to keep things contemporary.
Whether it’s a grand celebration at Hawkstone Hall or an intimate ceremony at Delamere Manor, my aim is to blend in and capture the story as it unfolds naturally.
Have you worked at any luxury Cheshire wedding venues?
Yes, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings at many iconic Cheshire venues, including Sandhole Oak Barn, The Oak Tree, Colshaw Hall, Peckforton Castle, Larkspur Lodge and many, many more.
Each venue offers unique opportunities to create stunning, timeless images.
How far in advance should we book a Cheshire wedding photographer?
I recommend booking as soon as you’ve set your wedding date, especially if you’re getting married at a popular venue in Cheshire. Many couples book their photographer 12–18 months in advance to secure their preferred date.
What is included in your Cheshire wedding photography packages?
My packages typically include full-day coverage, from preparations to the evening celebrations, an online gallery of professionally edited images, and the option for a bespoke wedding album.
I’m happy to customize packages to suit your needs.
Do you work with wedding planners or suppliers in Cheshire?
Yes, I collaborate with many talented wedding planners and suppliers in Cheshire. From florists to stylists, I’m happy to recommend trusted professionals who can help bring your vision to life.
Can you photograph outdoor weddings in Cheshire?
Definitely! Outdoor weddings are beautiful, and Cheshire’s countryside offers stunning backdrops for natural, light-filled photography.
I’ve captured outdoor ceremonies at venues and private estates across the county.
How do we book you as our Cheshire wedding photographer?
Simply get in touch via my contact form to check availability for your date. Once we’ve had a chat about your plans and you’ve decided to book, I’ll send over a booking agreement and deposit details to secure your date.
Can you help us create a photography timeline for our Cheshire wedding?
Of course! I’ll work closely with you to plan a timeline that ensures we capture every important moment without disrupting the flow of your day.
We’ll make the most of your schedule and venue.
What is your approach to wedding photography?
I take a natural, documentary-style approach to wedding photography. I focus on capturing real, unscripted and candid moments as they happen, allowing your day to unfold naturally without constant direction.
I shoot with an underlying editorial, classy aesthetic and colour pallette. The result is a gallery filled with authentic emotions and memories presented in a modern, chic manner.
As a candid wedding photographer, do you take posed photos as well?
Yes, while my style is predominantly candid, I understand the importance of group portraits and couple shots. I keep these sessions relaxed and efficient, so you can spend more time enjoying your day while still having beautiful portraits to treasure.
Can you work in low-light settings like evening receptions or candlelit ceremonies?
Absolutely. I embrace challenging lighting situations to create atmospheric and creative images. Whether it’s using soft natural light during the day or harder, direct flash for dancing and celebrations, I adjust my techniques to suit the mood and lighting of the moment.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, I’m based in Cheshire, but I travel across the UK for weddings, particularly to countryside venues and elegant city celebrations. If your wedding is further afield, I’d love to discuss how we can make it work.
How many photos will we receive?
On average, couples receive around 400–600 carefully curated and edited images, depending on the length of your wedding day. Each photo is individually polished to ensure the highest quality.
How do you ensure we feel comfortable in front of the camera?
Many of my couples start the day feeling camera-shy, but by focusing on candid moments, I let you enjoy your day without feeling like you’re under a spotlight. For portraits, I’ll guide you with simple, natural directions to help you feel at ease and look your best.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
You’ll receive a preview in the week following your wedding, and your full gallery within 4-6 weeks.
Do you offer albums or prints?
Yes, as a very proud brand ambassador for Folio Albums in the UK, I offer a range of luxury wedding albums. These are perfect for showcasing your favourite images. They can be purchased after your wedding or as part of a package.
Why should we choose you as our Cheshire wedding photographer?
With years of experience capturing weddings across Cheshire, I specialize in a relaxed, documentary style that tells the story of your day authentically.
Whether you’re celebrating at an iconic venue like Peckforton Castle or hosting an elegant marquee wedding at home, I focus on creating timeless images that reflect the atmosphere, emotion, and beauty of your wedding.
